Peace Rally - New Vineyard Church

The Association of South Jackson Neighborhoods (ASJN) is continuously seeking opportunities to form partnerships with groups and organizations, schools, churches and businesses to effect positive change throughout Jackson.  Citizens of goodwill are bringing the Jackson community together and discussing meaningful ways to end the senseless violence ripping through our community. 

Another Community GIve-A-Way/Peace Rally was held in Jackson, MS on August, 28, 2021 to combat the violence occurring in the City.  The Peace Rally is a means to have open discussions between opposing parties and to encourage young people to put down the guns and try talking out the issues through conflict resolution.

This quarterly event was held at New Vineyard Church located at 4207 Rainey Road, Jackson, MS, Gregory Divinity, Pastor.  Vendors included:  Southern Echo, Inc., ASJN, Central MS Health Services, Waffle House, AMR and Lincoln Heritage Funeral Advantage.  Vendors gave away various items including school supplies, information packets, food and sanitizers, just to name a few.  Central MS Health Services administered 13 vaccinations at today’s event.
