Happy Valentine’s Day

It is always a great feeling to celebrate others and to let them know the community supports their efforts.  During these trying times with COVID-19, many people are stressed to the maximum and could use a little cheer.  On Friday, February 12, 2021, the Executive Officers and several members of the Association of South Jackson Neighborhoods arrived at Wingfield High School carrying Valentine’s Day “Happies” to show love to the administrators, faculty and staff. 

ASJN members played cupid and delivered 100 Valentine’s Day bags to administrators, teachers, office personnel, cafeteria workers, custodians and security.  Thank you to Mr. Fred Conner for coordinating this event with Ms. Willa Watson and Brittney Bowman to demonstrate what love and service in the community looks like.
