ASJN South Jackson Ward Candidates Forum

The Association of South Jackson Neighborhoods (ASJN) hosted a forum to engage constituents on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at the Peggy Calhoun Community Center located on 4331 Will-O-Wood Blvd, Jackson, MS in conjunction with AMR and Southern Echo Incorporated.

The event allowed candidates to share their platforms, visions, strategies and plans for the various wards.  In addition to being asked a plethora of questions by the moderator and audience, they expressed their views on solving our city’s issues and working together. It is the organization’s purpose to collaborate with other nonprofit agencies, faith-based, and 501(c) 3 organizations to bring awareness to the issues that our various wards and communities are facing.

There were candidates from wards 4, 5, 6 & 7 present to express their views and solutions for our South Jackson section of the city. . The forum started at 6:00 p.m. until 7:45 p.m. We would like to thank all those who came out and participated and listened to the candidates.
