Health Fair

Saturday, November 16, 2024, we sponsored our third health Fair at the Peggy Calhoun Community Center located in the Will-o-wood community.  ASJN (Association of South Jackson Neighborhoods) The event was hosted in partnership with several health care providers and professionals. They were all there ready to assist the community in addressing its needs. There were many agencies available, and information given out.  Free blood pressures checks, iron and glucose checks, and the people from the community received free healthy food. Valuable health care information was available to take home. We had about 30 vendors and health care professionals that participated and said they enjoyed this great event and that they would be happy to participate again. The community was so engaged in learning about each organization that attended. At the end of the event, all those that participated and were present gave their appreciation for such an amazing event.
