3rd Annual Sponsorship Banquet

The Association of South Jackson Neighborhoods hosts its 3rd Annual Sponsorship Banquet, Thursday, September 14, 2023. Each year the organization prides itself on highlighting significant strides that have been made in the community with a collaborative partnership with our schools.

This year we paid homage to our elected officials and other community stakeholders who give consistently to our organization. A slideshow presentation was presented to showcase the work that we have actively been involved in.

The guest speakers were Pastor Tonya Ware (The Church Triumphant Global), Mrs. Jasmene Frazier-Lewis (COMCAST - Retail Store Manager), and Ryan Wilson (AMR Central Mississippi Operations Manager). All who are proud sponsors of each goal presented.

The room was filled with students, community members, elected officials, and school administration - all who applauded the continued efforts that we do daily in and around the City of Jackson.

Wingfield High School and Forest Hill High School both were presented a $1,500 check each to assist with their athletic needs on their campuses. In addition, District 4 Supervisor Elect Wanda Evers gifted the students with another $500 per school.

Moving forward and upward with a mission in mind to elevate, impact, and lead our youth to a brighter future.

Special thanks to New Jerusalem (Alta Woods) for the usage of their facility, Mrs. Margaret Blanchard for the décor and food, and to the countless guests which totaled 127 attendees - we thank you.
